Impact & Outcomes

We strive to connect young children and families to nature in meaningful ways, ensuring a life-long connection to the outdoors – one of our greatest and most precious resources. We measure our program success by asking families about their experiences, and also by asking them about their perceptions of nature:

1. Time spent outdoors
2. Family practices which support environmental stewardship
3. Knowledge of child development and the importance of unstructured play
4. Impact on physical health and well-being
5. Social and community connections
