Our Parent-Child art and outdoor classes offer a beautiful, first learning experience for young children, ages 18 months-3 years, and their caregivers. We believe in nurturing the artistic side of each individual allowing children and parents to explore, be present, and create together in a safe and supportive environment.
By taking time to connect and use the natural world through art we can experience the seasons and cycles of life in an immersive and personal way.
Every Child is an Artist. -Pablo Picasso
Our program brings families together to connect with one another, and with nature and art in an intentional and mindful way. We support and encourage the natural development of the whole child – head, heart, and hands. Following the same purposeful rhythm week after week, we begin our mornings with art exploration in the studio (guided by nature) followed by a simple gathering time with a wholesome and nourishing snack. We finish our day with a walk through the gardens and a special story.
Classes meet once a week for a ten-week session and are led by experienced early childhood educators and artists who care deeply about supporting each parent/caregiver and child on their own individual journey, in nature, art, and beyond.
