Family Fridays

A community offering.

Join us for an 8-week journey of community, nature connection, and fresh air. Once a week, families with young children (ages 0-8) will gather for two unhurried hours of nature play and exploration together.

Each week, an experienced educator will offer gentle provocations - inviting your child to explore, create, and wonder. Guardians will stay with their children for each class, making this a great option for families with their children to connect with each other while learning ways to help children thrive outside in every season.

Family Fridays is nature immersion for children ages 0 - 8 and their caregivers. Led by an experienced facilitator, families will explore age-appropriate provocations, art exploration, and French language introduction together. Each session will end with community meal time and a shared story.

Spokane Valley

@ Lilac City Harvest

Community, connection, and unhurried play for the whole family.

  • March 20th - May 15th. Classes will skip one Friday for their school district’sscheduled Spring Break.

  • Each class will be held from 10am to 12pm.

  • Family members should be dressed appropriately for the weather each day, as classes will be held outside.

  • Space is limited. Each Family Fridays session will include up to 10 families.

  • Family Friday sessions will be held at our existing nature play spaces in Enumclaw and Spokane Valley.

  • An experienced Greenplay Northwest educator will be onsite each day to provide materials, facilitate nature connection, and oversee safety.
