Non-Discrimination and Inclusion Policy

Greenplay Northwest stands in solidarity with Black, Indigenous + People of Color (BIPOC) communities and denounces all forms of racism. We believe that safety, security, and acceptance are basic human rights, and that nature play, exploration, and a sense of safety and belonging in natural spaces should be available to everyone. We acknowledge the grief and inequities our BIPOC communities experience, resulting from generations of social and racial injustices. Greenplay Northwest is committed to working on ways we can contribute to dismantling the systemic racism in our communities, and more actively and intentionally support and encourage families from all backgrounds to experience the splendor of the natural world, particularly BIPOC children and families, who are underrepresented in nature programs.
